 Jennifer Lawlor


Jennifer Lawlor began her first year at Monmouth University as Senior Associate Athletics Director for Student Development and Senior Woman Administrator in October 2015. In her role, Lawlor oversees all areas involved with NCAA, Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and Big South rules and regulations as well as provides oversight to the compliance office, academic support program and training room for Monmouth's 500+ student-athletes.

Serving as a member of the Athletics Department's senior staff, Lawlor is responsible for input into internal policy development and strategic planning. She also acts as a liaison with appropriate University departments, the Faculty Athletics Representative, Athletics Professor-in-Residence and Financial Aid. Within Monmouth Athletics, she has sport program oversight of women’s basketball and bowling. Lawlor is also a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tennis Committee.

Prior to arriving in West Long Branch, Lawlor most recently served at Columbia University, as the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance. In her role at Columbia, Lawlor was a member of senior staff and responsible for the oversight of a comprehensive rules education program. In addition, to Lawlor’s experience at Columbia University she had stops at Temple University, Seton Hall University and Bryn Mawr College. Prior to Columbia, Lawlor served as an Assistant Athletics Director for Temple Owl’s Compliance & Student Service Office during her five year tenure. At Temple, Lawlor oversaw rules education for student-athletes, coaches and staff, and also had program oversight of the Temple varsity women's gymnastics program. At Seton Hall Lawlor spent one year as the Compliance Coordinator and one year at Bryn Mawr College as an Assistant Cross Country and Track & Field coach.

Lawlor is a former track and field student-athlete from Lafayette College where she graduated with a BA in Government and Law in 2004. Lawlor also received a Master's in Sport Management from Neumann College in 2007. A native of Manalapan, New Jersey, Lawlor was inducted into the Manalapan High School Hall of Fame in 2008.

The former Jennifer White are her husband Marty Lawlor have a son, John, and are expecting their second child in May. They reside in Lincroft, NJ.
