2016 (Senior):

  • Appeared in 10 games, missing one due to injury
  • Led Monmouth in rushing and touchdowns
  • Set the Big South record for career receptions for a running back
  • Ranked third in receiving with 186 yards on 18 receptions
  • Led MU with 54 points, second on the team in all purpose yards with 996
  • Recorded four games of over 100 yards rushing
  • Had a season high 154 yards on 23 carries against Presbyterian (10/13)
  • Finished his career ranked third in rushing yards (2,449) and fifth in rushing touchdowns (24)
  • Also ranked second in all-purpose yardage, finishing with 3,576 in his career

 

 

 


2015 (Junior):

  • Appeared in 10 games, missing one due to injury
  • Led Monmouth in rushing and all-purpose yards
  • Second Team All-Big South selection
  • His 806 yards was third most in the Big South
  • Ranked fifth in the BSC in scoring for non-kickers
  • Fnished fourth in all-purpose yards with 982 while playing in just 10 games
  • Ranked ninth in total offense in the conference
  • Hauled in 23 receptions for 176 yards
  • Had a career-high 196 yards on 24 carries with 2 touchdowns against No. 1 Coastal Carolina (10/24)
  • Also had 143 yards on 23 carries in win over Bryan (10/3)
  • Named Big South Offensive Player of the Week on 10/26

2014 (Sophomore): 

  • Appeared in 11 games, starting in 7
  • 2nd Team Big South All Conference
  • Led the team in rushing yards with 835 yards, and touchdowns with 10
  • Tied for first on the team in kick return yards with 292
  • 60 total points which were good for 2nd on the team
  • 2nd on team in both receptions and receiving yards. 3 100 yard games
  • Threw 2 touchdowns against Columbia (10/11)

2013 (Freshman):

  • Appeared in all 12 games at running back and on special teams
  • He totaled seven kick returns for a total of 108 yards
  • At Montana State (8/29) he totaled 15 yards on one kick return and also added a tackle
  • Against Lehigh (9/14), he had one kick return for a total of 14 yards
  • Credited with two kick returns for 10 yards against Sacred Heart (11/02)
  • Added another two kick returns for 43 yards at Wagner (11/9)
  • His final kick return came in the last game of the season against Duquesne (11/23) for 26 yards.

High School:

  • Played running back, linebacker and returned kicks under coach Lance Clelland at South River High School..
  • Holds South River career rushing records for carries and yards
  • Named Concensus All-State as a senior
  • Earned a spot on the 2012 MD Crab Bowl
  • Was a two-time First Team All-Anne Arundel County selection
  • Named All-Metro by the Baltimore Sun and Capital Player of the Year in 2012
  • Named to the Anne Arundel County Elite 8 team
  • Ran for 1,491 yards, had 777 receiving yards and scored 17 total touchowns as a senior
  • Also had 358 return yards
  • Finished 2011 with 2,300 all-purpose yards and 26 total touchdowns
  • The Seahawks were 22-10 over the last three seasons, including an 8-3 record when Chaney was a senior in 2012
  • Also played lacrosse at South River.
