Men's and Women's Tennis

The current home of Monmouth Tennis was constructed in 2009 on the University’s North Campus. It features six courts at the corner of Pinewood and Beechwood Avenues. In addition, the facility is the home to the Patrice Murray Tennis House. Dedicated in a ceremony on November 25, 2014, the tennis house was named in the head women’s tennis coach and Monmouth Athletics Hall of Famer Patrice Murray, thanks to a donation from Joan and Howard (’89) Orlick along with their foundation, The DeAlessandro Foundation, which works towards bettering the lives of children and students. The donated funds were used to convert the existing horse farm barn from Kilkare Farms that was being used for storage into the home of Monmouth Tennis, which opened in the fall of 2013.

The new additions to the house feature a lounge area, which is also used for an area for stringing and sports medicine, a changing room, equipment storage and offices. The Orlick's and DeAlessandro have continued their association with the women’s tennis program by providing two additional donations which will allow an ice machine to be installed.
