MONMOUTH TO UNVEIL NEW TICKETING SYSTEM
WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – In advance of the new fall season, Monmouth Athletics is excited to announce upgrades to its ticketing system that will be in full-effect at the Hawks’ football home-opener on August 30, 2014 when they host Delaware State at Kessler Field at Monmouth Stadium.
The new advances include added convenience while purchasing tickets at home, having the availability to print after purchases and a scan system when entering MU venues. The new tickets will be used for football, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s lacrosse and championship events on campus.
Fans now have the opportunity to purchase tickets at home and have the ability to print out the purchased tickets, fully equipped with the appropriate scan code. In addition, fans can also select to send their tickets to their phones via an email or text message. The message will provide the user a link that contains the scan code for entry into the facility.
Event staff personnel at the entrance to Monmouth Stadium and the Multipurpose Activity Center will now be equipped with a scanner, which allows fans with proper tickets into the venue. Current Monmouth students, who are free of charge with valid ID card, will have their cards scanned to gain admittance. Season ticket holders will be provided a season ticket credential, featuring their seat information, this year’s home schedule, and the barcode for entry for all games.
During football and men’s lacrosse only, if fans leave the venue they must receive a stamp to gain reentry. Once a fan leaves the MAC during a basketball game, reentry is prohibited.
Single game tickets are now on sale for football. Check back with MonmouthHawks.com when men’s and women’s basketball, and men’s lacrosse tickets become available. Admittance to all other Monmouth events are free of charge.
