The 15 members of the women’s team accumulated a 2016 Fall Semester grade point average of 3.20 and were one of six Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference teams to be named. According to CSCAA, 91 percent of women’s college swimming teams earned a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
“Excellence in the classroom has been a goal for our team since the reintroduction of the program,” said head coach Matt Nunnally. “It is nice to see the women recognized by the CSCAA for their outstanding academic performance.”
