BOWLING INKS COFFMAN TO NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT
WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth University Head Bowling Coach Karen Grygiel has announced the addition of Camelia Coffman (Roseville, CA / Whitney) after she signed a National Letter of Intent to compete for the Hawks beginning in the fall of 2017.
Coffman will join the ninth-ranked Hawks for the start of the 2017-18 season following her graduation from Whitney High School. A member of the 2016 Junior Girls NorCal BC YBA All-Star Team, Coffman owns a high-game score of 278 and a high series total of 702. The right-hander competed at the 2016 Junior Gold Championships in the U20 Division this past summer. Coffman is President of the Whitney High School Bowling Club and has served as a California USBC Youth Committee Member.
“We are very excited to sign Camelia and have her join us in the fall,” head coach Karen Grygiel said. “She is one of the top players from the west coast, with a solid game. Camelia will be a significant contributor to our program.”
Monmouth’s 2016-17 season resumes on Jan. 13-15 at the Mid-Winter Invite at Jonesboro Bowling Center in Jonesboro, AR.
