WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Justin Robinson (Lake Katrine, NY/Kingston) and Micah Seaborn (Fort Worth, TX/Prime Prep Academy) combined for 43 points as Monmouth won its seventh game in a row over Quinnipiac at the OceanFirst Bank Center Friday, 95-76.

The Monmouth lead was between seven and 11 for the first 10:23 before Robinson netted a technical free throw to put MU up 12. Quinnipiac again got the deficit to within seven on a Peter Kiss layup at 5:40, but a 7-0 Monmouth run put it out of reach, including 5-5 from the foul line. The Hawks also scored the final seven points of the night to win by 19 and move to 9-2 in the MAAC.

Monmouth led by nine at the half thanks to 10 points in the period from Collin Stewart (Glenville, NY/Mekeel Christian Academy). The Hawks led by as many as 13 in the half and led by at least six from the 11:45 mark on. Austin Tilghman (Wilmington, DE/Archbishop Carroll) drilled a triple to extend it to 40-27 at 7:32, Monmouth’s largest edge of the period.

-Collin Stewart worked into double figures in both contests against Quinnipiac this season.
