DAYTON BEACH, FL – In its second event of the spring campaign, the Monmouth University women’s golf team climbed the leaderboard after posting a second round 323, 16 shots better than its opening round score to finish Bethune Cookman’s Lady EagleCat Invitational 10th overall. The Hawks were led individually by Haley Goodling who notched 160 over the 36-hole event.
Goodling led the Hawks’ card for the third time this season as she opened the tournament with 81 before firing 79 in the second round to finish with a share of 32nd overall. Junior Erin DiDonato registered 81 and 80 to complete the tournament a shot behind Goodling, while Sarah Kokotajlo notched 165, including 79 in the second round. Faith Garcia posted 178 (87-91) and Kaitlin Clancy finished with 180 (95-85) to close out the Hawks’ card.
Boston College shot 582 (292-290) to win the team crown.
